As recommended by Public Health England and The General Osteopathic Council I will be opening my clinic with certain procedures in place. These are deemed necessary to keep us all safe now that Covid-19 is present in our community.
What you can expect when making an appointment:
I will be required to contact you to discuss whether a face to face treatment is actually appropriate for you. For example if you have any symptoms of the virus, or are in the extremely vulnerable group of people I will be unable to treat you at that time. Under these circumstances alternative treatment options such as a video call or phone call could be arranged.
If you are able to have a face to face treatment:
Upon arrival please feel free to sit in the garden or waiting room. I will be staggering treatment times to allow for cleaning between patients so there will be no other patients present, hence reducing social contact with others.
I will be wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE) during the treatment and ask that you wear a face covering also. Please feel free to bring your own or use one that I can provide. I will be coming into close contact with you so please be aware of this.
May I also ask that you use the hand sanitiser provided when entering the clinic room.
I will be cleaning the clinic room and washroom between each patient.
